Big news !!! Dirk Passiwan is the new headcoach for the german womens national team

He will also continue being player/coach for the Donek Dolphins Trier.

By the way, congratulations! His son is born this tuesday🎉✨

Dirk Passiwan will already be the headcoach for the European Championships in december in Madrid.

It‘s so exciting to see, how such an amazing player, who is internationally known as a great player, will bring his knowledge to the womens team🤩

RSV Lahn-Dill vs. RBC Köln 99ers

I can't say this often enough. This is history to me.

It was the first game I watched on december 10th in 2019.

Lahn-Dill vs. 99ers.

And I really felt in love for the first sight.

I normally don't fall in love at first sight, but I think, many athletes went through this moment too.

So the RSV Lahn-Dill and the 99ers are really special to me.

At the beginning, I was more at Lahn-Dill games, because they start later, even the place is much more far away from home.

And the athmosphere and all the things the RSV did on gamedays to give the gym a professional vibe was amazing.

And the fans!!! So many!!!

And now, almost 3 years later, I was there again.

It was the first home game with spectators after they moved from the August Bebel Halle to the Rittal Arena.

The Rittal Arena is beautiful!!!

I was there, when they hosed the Champions Cup in May 2021 as a team volunteer, so I know also the backyards. It's really cool. It's big, but not too big.

And with all the lights and the fan shop, the magazine and the catering..., it's perfect.

That is what every team and every athlete deserves!!! They are all doing it on a professional level without being paid with millions, and even if this sport is not that famous, it's another point than, what they deserve.

My absolutely highlight at this game was, that I was set on the press list, so I was free to catch and post everything from almost everywhere.

I can't describe, how much I appreciate this. I'm a newcomer, little Instagramer (with amazing followers!!!).

Giving me the opportunity to post great shots and make reels out of that, was so excitened and a honor to me.

I might have missed many things too, but it was great sitting almost next to the basket.

It's like being in a 3-D cinema..., but it's LIVE"

I made the best photos and clips ever!!!

I think, the whole arena has good light conditions for the cameras and streams...

I really was excited so much, so that I really want to be there on every gameday. This professionality is a drug!

But it's also interesting to watch other teams, other venues, other ways to make it comfortable...

But I really recommend everybody to visit the Rittal Arena.

OK, my friends, who were watching the games from next to the court in their wheelchairs said, the sides are too high, so they would prefer to sit a little higher...

I'm sure, they will find a way to manage this.

German League 21/22 started !!!

So, the german league started

and my hometeam, the RBC Köln 99ers, had a homegame.

It was so nice, sitting next to the court with friends, make noise (drums and rattles), cheering and counting...

I know, that there are still fans, who couldn't come to the venues, and we might have lost some visitors during the lockdowns,

but I'm so sure, if we are really on our way back to normal life, more and more people will find the way to this sport.

It always depends on, how we share our informations and where and when, but as much informations we spread, as much people will be interested and come and watch for sure.

I will never stop telling people and friends, how amazing it is to feel these bounces, passes and crushes right in front of you.

Next weekend will be a special game to me...

RSV Lahn-Dill vs. RBC Köln 99ers in Wetzlar.

It's the same like my first wheelchair basketball game I saw and that was also the moment, i fell in love with it...

…and look, what a journey started from that day...

Kick off Tournament Cologne

September 18th/19th 2021

Hosted by RBC Köln 99ers in Cologne, Germany.

I will be there as a volunteer and

my team (4th team Landesliga) will play a game against Bertlicher Bulldogs.

Can‘t wait❣️

It was an amazing weekend, even if tournament weekends are really busy weekends, especially as a volunteer, who wants to be there from start to the end.

I really really love to meet all those amazing athletes in person and new some new ones!!!

And the athmosphere at tournaments is always special, because it‘s no league game, and it‘s mostly against a team, which does not play in the same league. Athletes meet old teammates and there is always a little bit more party vibe!!!

Next tournament will be the European Championships in december in Madrid.

I hope, I can get there!!
